Foore supports sending and receiving SMS. The capability to receive SMS comes along with virtual receptionist, sending SMS can be done using virtual receptionist as well as Short SMS Code.

To purchase and enable Short SMS code head over to SMS Module.
Short SMS code is not enabled by default and you will need to write to us to enable short code.
Note: SMS credits once purchased have a one year validity.
Receiving SMS using Virtual Receptionist
Virtual receptionist numbers are capable of receiving SMS from customers. All received SMS will show in conversation module with the customers.
Sending SMS using Virtual Receptionist
You will need to select virtual receptionist as the channel in conversation module.
If you have multiple channels, Foore will auto select the best possible channel for the customer. Sending SMS is as simple as typing and hitting send.
Sending SMS using Short SMS Code
You will need to select short code as the channel in conversation module.This requires active working short code with sufficient SMS credits.
Pro Tip: You can save frequently sent SMS as saved replies so that you save time everytime you send those.
Sending SMS broadcast using Short SMS Code
To send SMS broadcast to your customers, head over to Broadcast module. Create a new Broadcast by clicking + SMS broadcast. Write down the SMS message and hit save.
Pro Tip: It’s a good practice to keep your SMS personal and under 270 characters. Emojis are in rage nowadays ?♂️
Once done, save the broadcast and do a test send to make sure everything is perfect.
So your broadcast is ready? Just hit Send. You will also get a delivery report of the SMS campaign immediately after campaign is sent.

You will get report of SMS sent and received in last 7, 30 and 60 days in the SMS Report module.
